I get so disappointed when writers tag their post as (insert fandom) x male reader and at some point refer to the reader as ‘girlfriend’ or somehow make it obvious that the reader is supposed to be female. Also marking a certain writing of theirs as 'gender neutral’ in their master list and then referring to the reader as 'she’ is just as discouraging.
Please don’t do that loves!! It’s not that hard to re-read your stuff to make sure it’s gender neutral if you actually want to tag it as one.
